01 · One report

No more questionnaires to redo

The same report answers your customers, your bank and public tenders. You update it once a year.

02 · The European standard

The format your customers will use

In 2026 the VSME became the official voluntary standard of the European Union. From financial year 2027, a company subject to the CSRD may not require more, for its own report, from companies with fewer than 1,000 employees in its value chain.

03 · A clear rating

From A to E, like an energy label

A published method, the same for everyone. Only a verified rating can be shared, and anyone can check it in our public register.

How it works

Three steps to a credible answer.

  1. Assess for free

Enter the figures for your last financial year: energy bills, waste slips, payroll summaries. About 30 minutes, right in your browser.

  2. Download your report

A PDF report in the Basic module format (B1 to B11), with your environmental rating and a list of what is still missing.

  3. Have it verified

For a customer or bank that wants reliable figures, Tilka checks your supporting documents and signs the report.

Who is asking

The questions come from three directions.

Your large customers

Responsible purchasing and their own sustainability reports require them to survey their suppliers. A report in the European format covers the essentials.

Your bank

Loans, leasing, mortgages: more and more banks ask their SME clients for environmental and social data.

Public procurement

Since the revision of Swiss public procurement law, contracting authorities may take sustainability criteria into account. Ready, verified figures are an advantage.

Rating levels

One rating, three levels of assurance.

The letter is always calculated the same way. What changes is how the figures are checked, and that is shown next to the rating.

Declared

You enter the data, you get an indicative rating

To know where you stand and prepare your data. The rating is for internal use only.

Free, self-service.

FAQ

What we are often asked.

Is my company required to publish a sustainability report?

As a rule, no. In Switzerland, the legal duty (Art. 964a et seq. of the Code of Obligations) only covers large public-interest companies with at least 500 employees. But customers, your bank or a tender may ask for this information: the European standard then serves as a common format.

What is the VSME?

The sustainability reporting standard designed for SMEs by EFRAG, the European Union's technical advisory body. In 2026 it became the EU's official voluntary standard. It is all explained in our VSME guide.

Are my figures sent to Tilka?

No. The assessment runs in your browser. The draft is saved on your device only, and you can delete it at any time. We only receive data if you order a verified report.

How long does it take?

About 30 minutes if your bills and payroll summaries are to hand. You can stop and continue later on the same device, or save a backup file.

Why does the rating only cover the environment?

Social and governance data are collected for the report but not rated yet. We prefer to publish a solid method pillar by pillar rather than an approximate overall score.

Who is behind Tilka?

Tilka is a service of S. Potet Advisory (Sébastien Potet), in Switzerland. Tilka is independent: the rating is calculated the same way for everyone, whether or not you buy a service. Tilka is not affiliated with EFRAG or the European Commission.
